I was responsible for fully furnishing two bedrooms, a living room, and a dining room in a San Francisco apartment within a one-week deadline. While working remotely with clients based in another city, I curated all furniture selections—working around a few existing pieces and a tight budget. My goal was to create a cohesive, functional, and stylish environment tailored to the clients’ needs and preferences. The final concept was presented through a Canva board, allowing for clear visual communication and easy remote feedback and approval.

The clients needed all furnishings sourced as quickly as possible and within a limited budget, so I focused on selecting in-stock items with lead times of one to two weeks. My work helped ensure the design was both visually cohesive and practical within the project’s time and financial constraints.
For this project, Sam loved her existing bed and wanted to keep it as the focal point of the room. I worked on sourcing all the other pieces—like nightstands, lighting, and accessories—to create a cozy, inviting space that complemented the bed perfectly. The goal was to keep the room feeling fresh and functional while reflecting the client’s personal style. I focused on choosing pieces that would enhance the overall vibe and make the space feel like a true retreat.
For Katie’s room, she already had most of the furnishings in place but wanted to update the space with new bedding and a rug. I carefully sourced both pieces to create a cohesive and comfortable atmosphere, complementing the existing elements while bringing a fresh look to the room. The goal was to add warmth and texture through the bedding and rug, creating a space that felt both stylish and inviting, reflecting Katie’s personal taste.
